Organic Beauty Care relies on natural resources whose qualities are known and recognised and leaves no room for synthetic "innovative and revolutionary" active ingredients whose long-term effects we know nothing or very little about.

This product is formulated without emulsifiers for enhanced softness, it is in perfect affinity with the skin.  Combined with organic shea butter, sought after for its repairing, anti-drying and protective properties, wheat proteins favour the natural cell renewal process and restore the skin's elasticity and firnness.  Thanks to its lamellar structure identical to the skin's, a complex of natural ingredients penetrates into the heart of the epidermis and gradually release a cocktail of nourishing and renewing ingredients.  The skin is thus nourished in-depth and hydration of the outer layers of the epidermis is optimised. Organic blackcurrant seed extract, enriched with omega 3 and 6 and vitamin E helps to rebalance, nourish and replenish the skin.

Cattier was founded in 1968 by Pierre Cattier, one of the initiators of the Harmonist movement. Fascinated by alternative medicine, he became involved in the development of clay-based products, both for medical and cosmetic use.  He was a visonary who taught, many of his contemporaries to use simple and natural ingredients.

Daniel Aressy, a pharmacist-cosmetologist, specialized in natural cosmetology, took over the chairmanship of the company in 1987. He carries on the founder's philosphy, formulating increasingly effective products made of natural ingredients. Under his leadership, the company shifted towards Ecological and Organic Cosmetics and joined the Cosmebio association.

In order to be able to show the Bio label on its products, Cattier has chosen to comply with the very stringent regulations set down in the specifications for Ecological and Organic Cosmetics lodged with the French Ministry for Industry and Commerce.
